Kraftsman, in collaboration with the City of The Colony and Dunkin Sims Stoffels, Inc., designed and installed a vibrant “City by the Lake” themed destination that combines splash play, outdoor fitness, and community gathering spaces. The splash park features a wide variety of interactive water effects designed to engage and entertain children, complemented by durable broom-finish surfacing and Hypar shade structures that provide comfort from the Texas sun. A concrete seating wall surrounds the splash pad, creating convenient viewing and gathering areas for families. A key feature of the project is the outdoor fitness area, strategically positioned to overlook the splash pad and covered with its own shade structures, allowing parents and caregivers to stay active while maintaining clear visibility of children at play. Additional amenities include synthetic turf gathering spaces, shaded relaxation areas, hardscaping, and site furnishings, creating a well-rounded destination that promotes recreation, wellness, and community connection for visitors of all ages.
