Warranty
What We Cover
In every Kraftsman proposal and quote, we offer a one-year warranty on the labor and services we provide. All products we sell come with a transferable manufacturer warranty and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
Our one-year labor and services warranty starts the day the project is substantially complete, or the day product is delivered on orders without installation. It runs to the original buyer or to the authorized Kraftsman distributor who sold to you.
The manufacturer warranties on the products themselves often run far longer than ours — fifteen years on the steel and structural posts of some lines, lifetime on certain hardware. Those warranties pass to you at substantial completion or delivery. You hold them, and you enforce them on the manufacturer's terms. We will coordinate manufacturer claims for as long as the manufacturer's warranty runs.
What We Don't Cover
The warranty does not cover damage, defects, or failures arising from causes outside our control or beyond the scope of our products and workmanship. This includes ordinary wear and tear; misuse, abuse, neglect, or failure to follow the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations; repairs, alterations, or modifications by anyone Kraftsman has not authorized; vandalism; acts of God, including fire, flood, weather, and earth movement; environmental conditions including water quality and chemical exposure; and the cost of freight or labor to remove and reinstall any repaired or replaced part, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Legal Limitations
KRAFTSMAN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. KRAFTSMAN'S TOTAL LIABILITY ON ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE BUYER FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF THE CLAIM. KRAFTSMAN IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Filing a Claim
Submit warranty claims in writing to Kraftsman as soon as you become aware of an issue.

Include the project name, the install or delivery date, the affected equipment, and a description of the issue. Photos help.
A few ground rules: Wait for written return authorization from Kraftsman before sending any product back. Leave the equipment as-is until we have had a chance to inspect it — once unauthorized hands have been on a part, the warranty on that part is over. Repaired or replaced parts carry the balance of the original warranty period.
